I first became involved with the Brittle Bone Society in 1999. I have been a Trustee since 2010.
I am a partner in Jones Day, a global law firm which provides pro bono legal advice to the BBS and makes available facilities for the holding of meetings and other events.
In my time as a trustee, and formerly in my role as secretary, I have provided legal and strategic advice on a variety of matters, assisted with numerous tasks, including the BBS membership structure, the Pilotlight project, and promoting the society’s relationship with outside organisations and have introduced the Society to other advisers in areas such as P.R. and property and have attended lobbying and other events, and assisted with fundraising.
