SUPPORT GROUPS IN YOUR AREA
When people live with a rare and complex health issue like OI, it is easy to feel alone and isolated. The Brittle Bone Society has a number of Support Groups throughout the UK and Ireland. These are community based groups of people affected by OI. They gather to enjoy each other's company, share information, and experiences and socialise with others who understand the OI story.
These gatherings are social get-togethers, but speakers may be scheduled from time to time to provide information on topics of interest to the group. Some groups choose to organise local fundraisers and raise awareness about OI in their communities.
All groups are run by trained Volunteer Co-ordinators. If you are interested in setting up a group please go to our volunteer section for more information.
Alternatively if you would like to find our more about what is happening in your area please get in touch with your local Volunteer Co-ordinator - see the list below.
