Rare Disease Day 2016 Events

Plans for this year’s Rare Disease Day events are well underway. There will be parliamentary receptions in all four of the home countries – you can register to attend these now.

Wales

Welsh Reception – hosted by Darren Millar AM

Rare Disease Implementation Group meeting

When: 1.30pm to 4.30pm, Monday 29 February 2016

Where: All Nations Centre, Sachville Avenue, CF14 3NY Cardiff

The Welsh Government is holding an event on rare disease day at the All Nations Centre in Cardiff. Topics of discussion will include the implementation group and priorities for 2016/17, empowering those affected by rare diseases, identifying and preventing rare diseases, diagnosis and early intervention, care coordination and research. Scottish Reception – hosted by Malcolm Chisholm MSP

Northern Ireland

Conference: Patient Voice and Empowerment
