Funding & Support for Research

Call for Research Proposals

The Research Committee of the Brittle Bone Society issued its first call for proposals seeking applications for grants of up to £10,000 to support research into any aspect of Osteogenesis Imperfecta in June 2017.

The call was open to applicants from any country; however, it was expected that the Principal Investigator should be based in a UK or Republic of Ireland institution. We were not looking to co-fund with other bodies/funders in the first round but we may consider that for future rounds.

The next call for proposals is coming soon.

Patient Engagement

If you are a Researcher not looking for funding, but requesting access to patient engagement to assist with your research please complete the BBS Research Support Request Form.

Due to the large amount of these requests we cannot commit to them all, and therefore the request form will be forwarded to our Research Committee for approval.

Please refer to the Our Policies page for guidance.
