Elected as Trustee 2014, appointed Secretary 2015
I am pleased to have had the opportunity to work closely with the Brittle Bone Society since 2012; providing employment law advice on a pro-bono basis and assisting with other related legal issues. I am a qualified solicitor; however, my day-to-day work is leading the Graduate Recruitment Team at an international law firm.
My experience of dealing with contentious and non-contentious employment law matters means I can advise the Society on the most appropriate course of action when it encounters various employment related legal issues. In addition, my experience working within the graduate recruitment/human resources space means I am able to apply personal practical working knowledge of the law and people management to the advice I provide.
I have been moved by the passion and enthusiasm of all Society staff and was most recently encouraged to fundraise for the Society by organising a team of runners (including me) to run the British 10k in July 2013 and 2014 and London Marathon in 2015. I was delighted to be co-opted onto the Board of Trustees in 2014 and look forward to continuing to work with such a fantastic charity. Thank you for your support.
