A STUDY ABOUT PAIN IN OI
This study closed in January 2019 – the results should be available by the end of 2019.
The Spanish research foundation Fundación Ahuce launched a research project in collaboration with the University of Valencia.
The BBS encouraged as many people with OI as possible to take part – even if chronic pain was an issue or not. People from all countries we able to participate as long as they could read and understand English or Spanish.
The purpose of the study?
The project aims to assess the presence of chronic pain in adults affected by osteogenesis imperfecta, as well as its relationship with sociodemographic, clinical and psychological variables.
Who can participate in the study?
People with osteogenesis imperfecta from all countries, older than 18 years, with or without chronic pain.
